I wanted to finish college but I wanted to join an all
nursing school so I can get my BSN, but I needed the money and I didn't have a
job. My family and I lived so far away that I would have to live with someone
else to find a job. But sadly, my family lived in California so that was impossible,
so my only choice was to stay at home and try to find something to do. Which
was nearly impossible to find but I was determined.
So, I looked at all the military branches and figured what I
wanted to be in. I didn't want to be in the Navy because I felt that it didn't
suit me, I didn't want to be in the marines either because I don't like water
like that, and I would have to be super smart. So, I decided either the Air
Force or the Army. I wanted to join the Air Force first because I wanted to join the medical field and travel with everyone even though I am terrified of heights. So that is I want to do in my life hopefully this summer.
Meriyah,
ReplyDeleteJoining the military hosts a vast amount of occupations that will suit you. My dad is former Army and I am thinking about the Air Force. I do have a book that can help; it is called "The Ultimate Interactive Basic Training Workbook" by Sgt. Michael Volkin. This book has questions that you can answer in it as well as charts for fitness based on each branch and other basic parts of knowledge. Because Basic Training is the first step in the military, starting here will help. The fitness section has an exercise routine encompassing what someone needs to do every day for eight weeks. Simply put, if you're going into basic training in eight weeks, this book offers the information you need.
Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for the information I will look that book up and use it. I hope you get in the Air Force and good luck
ReplyDeleteMeriyah,
ReplyDeleteThe military does have a lot of benefits. I do wish you luck in choosing between the Air Force or the Army. Either way will definitely allow you to get to travel and see new parts of the world you could never imagine. I thought about doing this, but once I had kids, the thought of leaving them behind kept me at bay. Also, research research research to know and understand what is the best fit for you. Again GOOD LUCK!!
